What exactly is one polyp in zoas?

Like in the coral in this picture. I'm assuming one flower means one polyp. Am I correct or does one polyp have more than one flower?

You have about 30 blue polyps in that photo...4 pinks....and some bubble algea.

All corals are 100% home grown from frags of fellow reefers (low natural reef impact).
