anemone question
when i bought my anemone it was all the way at the top of the tank, on the piping that inputs fresh water from the filter. It was practically on its side cuz it was as high as it can be. All other anems in the store were on the bottom normal posture... ( facing up, and on the bottom of the tank).
So when i show pictures of my tank every1 is like OMG!!! not enough light.... blah. BUT... why was it just like it is in my tank in the LFS? LFS has good lighting... all other anemones were good. could i just have an anemone that likes to be up high?? My compact flourescent fixture is by Coral Life, and has two 50/50 18 watt bulbs. Its a 10 gal. Anemone is right at the bottom of the HOB filter right in the current. I also added a wave maker that sits on the side of the tank and blows back and forth towards the anemone. Anemone seems happy besides the fact that its so high up. Also, i feed it with a piece of a silverside every so often, and dump some Marine snow in the tank every 2 weeks or so. I do a 2 gal W/T once a week |

That is the thing about anemones, they move about until they find conditions to their liking. If it seems to like the current location it has probably found its "sweet spot" in your tank.

yeah you can move it if you want, but it will just move back to a spot it likes, which happens to be at the top right now
