Resurrecting My Tank

I took down my 75g FOWLR tank in December as I was moving. I have now relocated and want to start my tank up again. I have had my sand and live rock kept in storage (dry) during all this time.

Do I need to take any special steps with my sand and/or live rock before starting things up again? Should I cook my rock or can I just patiently wait for things to settle in the tank while keeping no life in it? Will I need to add some new live sand and/or life rock to get everything rolling again?

My apologies for multiple questions as I just want to cover the entire process and not get caught short by not asking. Thanks!

Here's an article on rinsing and reusing old sand on melev's reef:

http://www.melevsreef.com/rinsing_sand.html

I would definately rinse the sand and rock as well as I could. I would personally use a pressure washer on my rock, or atleast a scrub brush. Once the sand and rock are clean I'd set them up in my tank how I want them and let them sit and cycle for 6-8 weeks or however long it takes for them to finish cycling. I would use heat, circulation and a skimmer, but no lighting.
