Sump In Stand
I am planing on buying a sump for 65 gallon tank. It is a short tank 3 ft long. The stand has 2 doors and a bar in the middle, how do you put a sump in, through the top? Is that what everyone does? Because than its in for good, would there be any need for me to take it out? here is a photo

Hi. I hade this same thing some time ago. If I can remember I cut a hole in the side and put it thru that way. I didn't need to take it out. Had it that way for about 2yrs.
You can also take that front/center support out and put it back in after your sump is placed in. Just a heads up. The thing I disliked the most was taking the skimmer in and out to clean. Best of luck to ya. |

My main purpose is actully to run a phosban and a refugium, with a lot of LR and tons of cheato, I want no nitrate or phosphate issues this time lol, i am going to stick with the HOB skimmer I have now, i think, Reef Octopus 300F works great still.
