invert questions

hey guys. okay when my aquarium finally cycles and have all levels good. I am supposed to add inverts right? should i feel inverts too?? since it will be brand new tank with no fish or anything else, what will poor inverts feed on and survive? will they starve? should i specially feed them while there is no other fish and stuff... or no food at all?? thanks. (planning to keep few snail and hermit crabs... and just possibly shrimp )

As soon as mine cycled, I bought two small clowns from Petco. They're tank bred & very hardy. Still have them a year later. Then a month later I bought a clean-up crew. That way your feeding the tank regularly & you've given the tank some time to settle down.

Otherwise, you'll need to feed the tank without even having any fish to eat it.

If there's no algae growing in the tank, you'll want to throw in a little fish food from time to time. I'd say about half what you would feed if you had one or two fish in the tank.

Current Tank Info: I have a reef screen saver on my phone, does that count?
