ACjr and 2 dc8's
I have a ACjr with one dc8. I just installed a sump room in the basement and want to add another dc8 for those components down there. What do I have to do to add the second dc8? The person I'm buying the dc8 from thought there could be issues with doing that. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have an acjr as well and I believe all you need is the cable to link them together. looks like a phone jack. You would come off your first dc8 on the out port and daisy chain it to the next. I don't see any issue. have you got on their web page, and do you have your original instructions? if not i do and can look it up in the instructions if you need me to, but it would be tomorrow before I could get back to you. lmk

Thanks chris, I actually have the jr instructions in hand. They say to check the dc8 instructions which I dont have, but im sure they can be found on the neptune site.
If anybody else knows exactly how to do it and configure the pins please let me know. Thanks. |

Unfortunately the AC Jr. only supports 12 outlets so the controller will not use the last 4 on the second DC8. The interconnecting wire is a standard 4-pin phone wire but has a recommended distance of 10 feet.
