custom tank maker
got a quote from a custom tank maker of 1900 for a 100 gallon aquarium I felt the price was ridiculous for a 72 X 18 x18 tank and we did not even talk about a stand . Anyone have good experience with a great tank maker that charges reasonably for their work?

Are you talking glass or acrylic?
Glass cages, miracles in glass and heck even perfecto will make glass tanks. I am sure even perfecto will most likely quote you less than that.

If its a standard footprint even big op's like All Glass will do it, they just only do tanks now that they have the molding for say an 72x18 or 72x24 tank, height is up to you.

Just got my new tank from GlassCages.com
Paid about 1/2 that for a custom 134g (approx) with a starphire front panel. I will say the tank is built like a tank... no pun intended... Great quality and not to mention I was able to pick it up 8 days after I ordered it. I couldn't be happier with my tank. |
