How long before base rock turns to lr

I know this is a question that will have a different answer for every situation, but I still would like to hear some opinions on the subject.

For me its live after the first day. After that it just become more populated.

I would guess it takes 1-2 months to be fully functional (anaerobic bacteria to be established).
