Impossible to keep Calc Reactor Effluent Consistent
I have a Geo Reactor that I am feeding off one of my Iwaki MD30RLXT return pumps. I have a quikconnect ball valve on the effluent discharge that I use to set the effluent rate. Co2 in reactor is controlled to 6.7 to 6.8 so I shouldnt be getting mush that would plug the valve on the effluent. It seems that no matter what I do, I get the drip rate set right and the next day it has stopped dripping or slowed in half. I adjust it and same thing happens the next day or two. Is there some secret that I am not aware of? I tried controlling on the intake side (the tap of the return pump) rather than the effluent and it seems even harder to control? Any ideas?
