CPR AeroForce New skimmer

I am in the process of getting a new HOB skimmer. I was looking at a few and someone said the new CPR Aero Force will be one of the best HOB skimmers on the market. I'm a little leary of CPR BakPaks and think they are just a little bit better than a SeClone. I tried calling CPR but keep getting their voice mail and no return calls which again make me leary. Has anyone seen one of these things in action yet?

Somehow, I don't think this is going to be on par with Tunze, Deltec or Octopus HOBs. Time will tell.

I finally got a hold of CPR. I'm still skeptical since they couldn't tell me how large of an aquarium it can be used. I saw the Eshopps HOB at my LFS. That really looks promising and the pricing is right. I'm sure it is the equal to any Octopus without having to do all the mods which seem the norm for Octo users. I am looking at the Tunze. Deltec also looks like a good skimmer but I really can't justify the cost. It is nearly 150-200 dollars more and I don't think the slightly better skimate you would get justifies the cost.

Bermuda Aquatics Rogue skimmer is pretty good too. The Octopus 800 has a Sicce pump. The only mod you MIGHT need to do would be to remove some of the teeth from the pinwheel to slow down the output of that monster.

I agree about the Deltec. Deltecs are like Sony's... good product and an extra $200 for the name.
