I've used it for years but just opened a new bottle and it's really dark compared to most of the ones in the past.

Any reason not to use it?

I left a message on their 800 #; I got if from Dr F/S months ago when it was on sale and I stocked up on some things. It's got an earthy smell to it too.

I did use it this morning in both tanks. all was good.

Thinking back they were rarely clear but my last two gallon jugs have been clear but I chalked it up to old/new batches as they changed their packaging pics etc. This one is the new packaging though.
