Some ID's Please
I have a SIL that is wanting to give me some of the following soft corals. I would love to know what they are and check on whether I should have them or not.
One of this group... The three in front and a fourth behind (not visible) are on a rock by themselves and not with the other coral behind them... For this picture the snail on top I would love to have an ID on and the coral behind the banded shrimp would be cool to have an ID on... Thank you folks for your help, these are all in an established 12 gallon bio cube. |

The coral behind the shrimp (the last pic) looks like a xenia.

The first one is Xenia and the second is Kenya tree. IMO

and thre three polyps in front of the Kenia tree are Protopalythoa (zoanthus family) regards Markus |

Tex, you'll find out that xenia spreads rather quickly and can become a plague.

+ on all the I.D. xenia looks best when it grows to plague proportions in my opinion lol. but if it does get too big for your taste its extremely easy to frag and give to your LFS.
