Anemone?

I recently bought an anemone, and it had found a spot in my tank, it was in that spot for a few days. I came home from work and it had been sucked up it to one of my circulation pumps. I was wondering, is there an easy to place them so they stay aleast on the ground or a secret I need to know?

One more question, what part if any is of the animal is worth keeping if found soon enough, and is there a way to do this?
