Please Help Clarify

I have a 90g mixed reef and has been in good shape for roughly 3 years now. I have always read about Kalk paste and never really understood what exactly it is. I have Alkalinity and Calcium supplements but never purchased the paste. I had posted a question yesterdday regarding the control of xenia and several people responded by injecting the stem with kalk paste.

Will someone please just simply explain what exactly the paste is. Do you purchase it or do you have to make it? I know many people say you can buy the pickled lime juice as well? Is that correct?

Thanks in advance

just add a little bit of water to kalkwasser to make it into a paste.

Yep, just add a little water to some Kalk powder, until it is a paste -- but not so think that you can't get it into the syringe.

However, don't use too much all at once, wouldn't want to through off your levels, including pH.
