i just read about zoos being lethal. is that true of most corals or just zoos?

Palythoas and zoanthids (not all corals) contain palytoxin, one of the most potent neuropeptide toxins known. You don't want to be getting paly / zoo juice into your body. Typically the greatest danger is while fragging and wearing a full face mask and gloves is highly recommended.

Just keep the zoas away from your face and wash your hands after handleing. My buddy had some of the toxin squirt into his eyes while fragging and he had to be rushed to the hospital and had trouble with his vision for 2 weeks afterwards so be carefull!!

Yeah I always wear safty goggles when fraggin zoa's. On multiple occasions I would have gotten a squirt in the eye if not for that.

theyre pretty but it doesnt sound like something you want to have around with pets and children
