Covered Refugium?

Setting up a new fuge, and was thinking about cutting a large piece of plexi, or acrylic to cover the top. It would be clear for the light still, mostly just to keep down on the evaporation.

Good idea? Bad? Maybe just some vent holes?

It's more trouble than it's worth IMO. Won't really make much a difference if the rest of the system is open.

I agree, the cover would do almost nothing to curb evaporation.
