Need skimmer.. and a refugium.

I need a new skimmer. Trying to stay within the $500 - $1k price range. Suggestions?

For the refugium, price doesn't matter.

Will be adding a sump, yes. Hence the request for refugium suggestions. Please advise.

How many total gallons is the system, how much live rock do you have, and how heavy will your bio load be? Do you plan on keeping SPS, LPS, or both? How many fish will you have?
We need this info to help give you a better idea of what your system needs.

I recommend a large (at least 1/2 system size) fuge with lighting comprable to the main tank, a DSB, and turbulent flow

I accomplished this by putting two layors of 2x4's under the stand for my fuge and run a 2" siphon to the main tank.
