Phosphate Chemical to bring PO4 to Zero

I'm looking for the best product to bring down my phosphate to 0 overnight to supplement control of HA I'm battling. What product do you recommend and where is the best place to buy online?

Bulk Reef Supply has a great reactor as well (get the dual - run carbon too) They also have the best prices around on GFO and carbon.

FWIW - i don't think there is a product to instantly remove phosphate - even if there was, the abrupt change in water chemistry would likey be bad for you tank.

Correct the source of the problem- often overfeeding, and run gfo in a reactor and it will go away

The use of a media reactor, carbon, and gfo will help you out. You can also raise your alkalinity (dkh). You might want to check your nitrate to see if that's out of normal levels.

forget all those reactor, if you have a high flow area in your sump. get a micron bag, put in some Phosgaurd by Seachem, done.

I have a 265 gallon, did the mentioned above, and my Phosphate is 0 for the last 3 months. I dont even need to remove it even when the phos is at 0. just keep it there until you see some phos rising, this indicates that the media is being used up, and then replace then.

ANY reactor that meets your needs + BRS or Warner Marine high capacity (HC) GFO. BRS is considerably cheaper but I'm convinced they are sourced from the same supplier (pelletized and HC).

I dont need a bulky BRS reactor, I have a 30g and 14g biocube both with limited space.. small $35 sapphire nano for the biocube and small $35 viaAqua for the 30g are MORE than adequate and problem free for my needs.

LAnthium Chloride (sp) will bind your phosphates. If you use this you should use a some type of small micron filtration immediately afterwards.

I believe that melev talks about it on his site, and I think Gary Majchrzak has talked about its use
