question about a deal on a light

Ok so I have a deal that I have to make a decision on. I'm pretty much piecing together a tank and have the opportunity to buy the first piece of equipment that I'm going to build the tank around the light. I want to go with T5's and have been shopping around for awhile doing research. I have met this guy who basically liquidates used fish tanks and equipment and he recently acquired a Current Nova Extreme 48" 8 x 54 fixture. It has the mounting legs, cooling fans and everything works. The only down side is that it is not the model that has individual reflectors it just has one big reflector. He is selling it for $200. I have an Fluval FX5 that he said he would give me $120 for it. I wanted to hold on to this for my QT tank and I paid way more for it 2 years ago but I could ultimately get this light for $80. Do you think that this is a good deal?

Does it have bulbs, and how old are they?
Around here bulbs are around 25 bucks. So that adds up fast.
