Sump/Refug Setup
I've got a 55g sump/refug that I was thinking about using to grow some chaeto or other macroalgae. What wattage light do I need and what macroalgae do you recommend? Are there some types that my tangs would eat? Thanks.

Use Chaetomorpha and any good daylight type bulb. About 100 watts is fine. Here is a good diagram on sump design in an ongoing thread.

Excellent. Thanks. I was concerned that I would need some sort of fancy T5 unit or something. So, if Home Depot works for $7-$10, great!!
