need pump recommendation
I need a pump that can push water about 6ft vertical and then about 20ft horizontal.
Needs to submersible. I am setting up a water change station in my garage and want to be able to pump water to my tank... Thanks for any help. |

How fast do you want to move the water?

a decent speed I guess. Doesn't really matter though, I will only be transferring about 20-30g at a time...I guess speed isn't really the issue, I am more concerned with head pressure

There are lots of pumps that will work for that. If you visit the homepage of Reef Central about 3/4 of the way down on the left you will see a head loss calculator. That calculator will let you plug in different pumps to fit your scenario. You might start with the Mag 3 or 5 in the Calculator and see if that suits your needs.
