whatever they are have you tried putting superglue gel onto them? I have done it to aptasias and hydroids, even when the aptasias withdraw into their hole I can usually squirt some superglue into the hole and then the next day pop the hardened superglue plug off. usually the aptasia is stuck in the plug and comes out with it.

Cool, I luckily have never had many Aptasia in my tank. I thought these were, and the others I have seen were in other peoples tanks and never really looked at them that good I guess.

But in the picture below I put a red circle around an area that is clearly being affected, and not growing like the rest. And that is right were these guys are. So they are having some kind of affect on the coral.

No I have not tried superglue, thanks I will try that tomorrow.

You can even smear the superglue all around the area and leave it there for a week, then when you peel/pop/break it off you will be sure to have killed anything that was there without harming the coral, as long as you don't get it on there.

aptasia x absolutely does not work, idk how they can even sell it. i bought a peppermint shrimp and he wouldnt touch them. hot water didnt work for me. by this time im giving up
