New Vertex In180 problems...

....I am getting TONS of microbubbles in the display tank, I have 2 bubble traps in the sump but still LOTS of bubbles. Any suggestions? Would depth or settings on IN 180 affect anything? I'm running at about 8.5 inches with outlet closed half way

Did you check for broken tube for return or hole in the hose ? It might not be skimmer's fault.
