Lion fish with cloudy eyes
I have a lion fish I have had him for about 7 months he good but it is nothing but ghost shrimp I have tried every trick that has been suggested to me, with no positive results. About a week ago one of his eyes began to cloud up then two days ago the other one began to cloud also. What should I do? If I need to put him in a hospital tank would it be ok to use a bucket with a heater and a filter. He is about six inches long I know this would be small but he has never been much for swimming so I don't think he would mind. Should I medicate him if I do with what? Please help any advice would be great.
Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 Nitrates 5 phosphates 0 PH 8.4 Salinity 1.025 temp 77 bi weekly 15 gallon water change.

Yeah post one in the AM. Maybe people will be able to give you some advice if they see his eyes. I'll tell ya though from personal expirience. Cloudy eyes is usually not a good sign. Post when you can

Yeah man he doesnt look very good. Usually Lionfish dont just chill on the bottom like that. He must have some type of bacterial infection or something. Is he in your 100 gallon Fowlr tank? What other fish do you have in there with him? Im hoping someone else can chime in here for you as to a possible product to use to treat his illness.

Check your PH again. What do you use to check your salinity? It could also be PH burn or high salinity. Your parameters all seem in check but faulty equiptment is a usual occurence in this hobby. Just my two cents worth of advice but in my personal expirience...I had a hydrometer that i used to measure specific gravity. Came upon some extra cash and bought a refractometer and retested my parameters. The hydometer was way off. Also recently purchased a PH probe and found that my PH was at 7.9 not the 8.4 that tested with my Sera Test Kit. This may not have anything to do with your Lionfish problem cause you say your other fish are ok but just for future reference.

After His first eye went cloudy I tested water and took some to my LFS to double check they got the same thing the only other things in there are a foxface about the same ize as him a blue tang about 2 inches and an O. clown about 3 inches. The reason he is on the botom like that is because I had to get him to turn around so I stuck my hand in he is usually fairly active. even since his eyes have clouded over.
