copepods

is there any negatives if you put 25,000 copepod in a 90 gallon with a 20 gallon sump

Why would you do that? Most of them would properly die because there's not enough food available.

24,980 would be eaten or sucked into the skimmer within the first 1/2 hour, so the remaining 20 should do fine.

You will have a ton in your skimmer like mentioned above IMO, if you put them in the DT. Do you have a fuge or something you could keep them in?

Wait so if you pour the copepods from the bottle into the DT they'll get sucked up by the skimmer?

Damn i never thought of that, how long would i have to turn the skimmer off to let them all settle in?

LOL.

You can just get one of those 600 pod bottles from online and dump them in your tank. Save the money on the other 24,400 pods for something else.

Squirt them around your rock and in your refugium. They will reproduce like rabbits until their population reaches a balance. At night they cover my glass.
