Need snail ID: Dangerous? PIC inside..
Hi all, as the title says I am trying to ID some snails that seem to be multiplying abnormally faster than any other snail I have had. In fact I have never even noticed snails multiplying until these guys.
They are best described as turbo snails but without the pointed shell. They seem to "grab shells from near by substrate, so i do not think the snail's shell grows with them. For example, I tried to pull one of these guys out of the tank and the shell came right off rather easily and the snail was still stuck on the glass. I have not seem them cause any trouble with corals but I just want to make sure they are not going to be a problem. |

They're probably feeding off the giant pods!
