Help...something wrong with my Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

I just noticed this mark on my Skunk Cleaner Shrimp. I thought it would go away in a Molt, but he just did today, and it didn't - in fact, it looks like it got worse.

He is still eating well and active. What do you guys think? It started as just a black strip, but now its got this white spot in the middle (which was just after the molt...could be as a result). Maybe a parasite?

Either a parasite or some kind of abnormal tissue growth. Either way, I dont know if there is anything that you can really do. Maybe post in one of the specialist forum?

I did post it in the invert forum, so we will see.

He's such a happy shrimp - adds much character to my tank...and I would be said if he did pass on... :-(

I had a cleaner shrimp get this and was told it was caused by either water quality or physical injury. I made sure he wasn't getting picked on and did a water change. It did go away.

It looks a little better today. I will be sure to do a water change tonight when I get home.
