Who runs a fuge for their reef tank?
I'd like to know how many of those with reef tanks also run a fuge?

They are a must for me. I need a place to hide all that equipment.
Plus it gives you a lot more water volume which equals to a more stable environment.

Oh yea...as far as the sump goes....
I've never had any adverse water chemistry problems running the fuge. Just curious how those who don;t use a fuge do... |

Yes, first sump chamber that had socks now has live rock, then skimmer chamber, then fuge with rock rubble and chaeto, then return pump.

My current tank has a small DSB fuge with some live rock rubble and chaeto. I think my next build is going to have just the rock and chaeto, no sand bed at all.
