Salt mix?

Hey guys,
Im going to start mixing my own salt water and I was wondering what you guys think is the best salt to use?

The "best" in terms of additive levels is probably Tropic Marin Pro. But at $90/50lb bucket, it's pretty pricey. I like Coralife. I've been using it for about 8 months after switching from Reef Crystals, and seem to find the mix a little more consistant, and Calcium levels stay a little higher.

i have been using instant ocean reef crystals for 3yrs.

I agree with Jim. I have been using Coralife for 3 years now. Seems to mix really consistent. Alk is around 9 dkh and Calcium is high at 480-500. I don't have to buffer much of anything, just weekly water changes will keep things in check.

Depends on what you look for in a salt. What's important to you? Do you have supplements or want to supplement your tank?

Im looking for something that will keep my parameters in check. I hear that this is good.
