dosing Kalk with SMS125 & KS1000

I am settint up my kalk reactor KS100 (aqua medic)and milwalkee PH,ORP controler,I also have a tuzunes auto top off 5017,
I am having a little trouble tying it all together
should the ph monitor turn on the reactor or should it turn it off,
when the ph is to hi or low.
also the stirring of the device, does anyone have a good suggestion as to when/how often should this be activated, does it matter if its stirring well the system is dosing ?
also my evaporation is very random as the daily weather here changes so much .
any help would be greatly appreciated in this matter thanks in advance
Steve.

ph monitor turn it off, u dont want to over shoot ur ph. set it up to run unless ph is 8.2-8.4

or just run it as top off

stirr on a timer once ever hour

are u runnig an ato sepperate?

the problem i see with using a ph controller for a kalk reactor, is dumping too much freshwater, and screwing ur salinity up. most run kalk in conjunction with top off, inorder to keep salinity constant. there is a way that if u have two top off containers, u can use ur phcontroller to bypass the kalk reactor, when ph is too high. i would do it that way....

with two pumps, u would have them hooked up to a relay, powered by the ph meter, and then hook that relay up to ur top off relay.

I want to do something similar. For evaporation top off, I want to add kalk only when the pH dips too low. Other times I want fresh only. How would I set up something like this.
