Thinking of downsizing

Right now I have a 29 Gallon Cube Tank and may go to a 10 gallon Nano tank.

What is absolutely necessary to run a 10 gallon Nano?

I have a Heater, Sand, Filter and light that came with the 10 gallon tank

Also can a clown fish go in a 10?

I want to recure the rock I have right now in the 29 gallon because I have Aiptasia so I want to restart tank but downgrade at the same time.

Recuring will solve aiptasia or no?

IMO i wouldnt do it. because in the end you will regret it. by not having the space to add a cool new coral or fish. you will be very very limited to what you can do with it. just my $.02

I had really good luck with Aiptasia-X. Managed to kill off completely 1-2 dozen of the things throughout the tank. It may take a few applications to get some of the larger ones.

For such a small tank a ATO would be important, although not necessary. Downgrading from a 29 to a 10 isn't a huge deal. You'd have the same problems with inhabitants as you had in your 29 since even a 29 isn't very big.

A clownfish should do ok in a 10 gallon but you may consider trading it in and getting something even smaller. Or maybe even going fishless.

As for your aiptasia, I've always had luck with peppermint shrimp. If you get them small you'll have better luck with them eating the aiptasia.

I heard you can make a Kalk paste, how is this done? I used Aiptasia-x before they come back in a few days with that.

Automatic Top Off? I have one of those

i've been running my 12-gallon nano for about 3 yrs now. things are great. all you need is a heater, powerheads if you need extra flow, a pump for circulation, lighting, and of course LR and LS. I have 2 perculas (clownfish) in my 12-gallon, so yes you can put clownfish in there. Most important is how often you do water changes and the overall quality of your water.
