MRC MR1 skimmer not acting right

Hey guys,
after changing out my overflow box the other day, my MRC is now acting like its boiling water in the bottom chamber instead of creating a vortex of bubbles to create foam towards the collector cup, has anyone seen this that has one? I'm panicking cuz I just spent a ton on coral the same day and now I cant clean my water. Ive called my reef creations and talked to them but they don't seem to know what my issue is

(of the skimmer and the bubbling) __________________ Its not just my tank, its OUR tank!!! :-) 240display, reef in progress Current Tank Info: 240 display, a few frags here and there. lots of fish, and lots of watching. (230 big screen getting re-sealed and going to add to the gallonage) My wife has no clue how addicted i really am.....
