Coral Coloration
Sorry if there has already been a post on this but the search function NEVER works for me. Any way, I have number of corals that seem to be bleaching or something similar. I am trying to figure out how to get their color back but to no avail am meeting with little success. I have tried moving some of the problem corals to less light and such but nothing. I have heard some "rumors" that iodine can be used to keep colors deeper and more brilliant. I realize that iodine also can be a tricky thing and should only be done if you have a good test kit for it but I have no ideas left to solve this problem. Zoas/palys seem to be the most affected by this problem but I have some plating corals and mushrooms suffering the same thing. Everything this is growing like a weed they just seem to have lost the brilliant colors that they had in the LFS. Ca-440, Mg-1500, ph-8.1
Thanks for any help you may have. Oh yeah, my light is a Nova Extreme Pro, 6x54w. |

nitrate-0, Phosphate I have no test for however I have very little algea plus a TLF phosban so I dont think there is a huge issue there, and DKH is 11.5
