I can see the crowd, now that they posted the raffle photos ! LOL Thanks for posting the numbers. Glad to see so many people are still in this hobby, during these rough economic times.

That is just part of my sig that I thought was a funny play on words...

You can be a part of it too if you want, though it isn't an actual group per-say.

This was my first year at MACNA and have already made plans for next years. It was a great experience, seminars, speakers, it was all just awesome. The other thing that really impressed me was how approachable everyone was. Being able to just walk up and have a conversation with Bob and Anthony it was great.

I really, really liked the raffle .........went home with a Vortech MP40 and a Reefkeeper Elite. Thanks to all the sponsors that donated to the raffle. Easier to explain to the better half that you just didn't spend $400 to go and geek it up.

Everyone has come across those fish that just refuse to eat when you first receive them, to help prevent the little guys from starving to death you feed 'em. Very simple concept, yet few have thought of.

I do have a few mandarins that have come in very thin and if I can bring them back to good health this way it will be great.

It is an extreme measure when a fish isn't eating... You use an anesthesia medicine called MS222. I have a video of exactly how to do it, hopefully I can get that uploaded at some point.

Go for it! I know that there are at least a couple of others on here that are in high school. Maybe they would join too.

The video of the fish feeding can be seen here: Getting your fish to eat. Three people in the audience were actually able to feed a fish that way. They just used water because we didn't have a fine enough ground food.
That's crazy. Thanks for the video - that one has to be seen. And I'm glad it actually included a moment of what will probably happen to any one of us that tries that ourselves.

Too bad she didn't use something from Reef Nutrition or Rod's Food. Both booths have super fine food that would have worked with her syringe.

I can't get to Frank Marini's talk. Is there any other way to get that file?
