bleached yuma help!

A friend of mine gave me a hot pink yuma that is totally bleached out from no light. I guess he fragged it and left it in his sump to attach and forgot about it. Now it is in my tank and I was wondering if it will recover? I have it under an overhang to acclimate it to light again.

What do you guys think i should do to make sure it stays alive?

TIA

keep it shaded and slowly bring it out towards more light. there is no reason for it not to survive given a little tlc.

can even be a cheap way to get ric's from your lfs, offer to buy the bleached ones for less, take them home and watch them color up; alot like buying a browned out acro.

I got a bleached one and just plopped it in my tank. $ months later it looks great and has colored in nicely. This tank is PC lighting so it is definitely not getting too much light.
