Can you hang a Current Nova Extreme?

Is there an easy way to hang my Nova Extreme 8-bulb?

I had the original Nova Extreme a few years back. It had no provisions for hanging but I hung it anyway. I used steel cable. On each end of the fixture I used a section of the cable with silicone airline tubing slid over it to protect the fixture where the cable came in contact with it underneat and at the sides. You could use coated cable instead. I used these two pieces like slings at each end. I formed loops at the ends of each "sling" section using cable crimps. Then used a link to attach to a single cable (at each end) with another loop crimped on at each end to attach to the ceiling. Actually, I used a pulley system to allow me to raise and lower the fixture ... My tank is an inwall so it wasnt fancy looking as it didnt need to be. Im sure something similiar could be done taking aesthectics into account more if necessary. The wire cable doesnt need to be thick. The thin cable is more than strong enough to support the fixture. You could also buy one of the hanging kits sold for one of the fixtures that have provisions for hanging. These usually have the spring loaded cable height adjusters. You could adapt it to work with the Nova by making the slings for the ends like I described above.
