AquaController Jr
I'm thinking of getting the AquaController Jr w/ Serial Port, Lab pH & Temp Probes & DC8 for about $275 from one of several sites. No where can I find if this thing can be program directly from my PC as the way it comes. Does anyone have an answer to this and what ever else I can expect, thanks.

It can't be programmed via a computer. No need though, super easy to program once you get the hang of it.

Sure it can be programmed directly from you PC. Just need a serial port on the computer and the port option on the Jr.

Its programmed via the computer using aquanotes. You can D/L the free copy from neptune and it allows you to do that.

you can program from a computer using the free version of aquanotes from neptune.
make sure you get the serial cable. afterwards, you can access it from the internet using my free software. http://sites.google.com/site/acserial2web you don't really have to buy new, if you are patient, you can find used ones listed for under $200 (usually range from $150 to $180). just make sure you get the model WITH serial port. |
