T5 Lighting Suggestions for my 55G
It's time to change my bulbs in my 55G so I need to swap out 5 new 54W t5 bulbs.
Last year I went with 2 ati blue bulbs and 3 aquasun. This year I wanna throw in a Fiji Purple. 1 Fiji Purple 2 aquasun 2 ati blue Anyone have any other suggestions? Also what would be the best change over method to prevent any bleaching. I have a mix of sps, lps and softies.

I ran something similar to that (ATI Procolor instead of Fiji Purple) in my TX5. Gave a lot of nice pop to the corals. Right now I'm running 2-Blue Plus, 2-Aquablue Special, 1- 75/25.
I'd just reduce the photo period then slowly bring it back up. That or layers of screen are probably the easiest ways to reacclimate everything. -Justin |

Is there any place online that sells purple fiji lights or ATI Procolor besides premium aquatics? PA charges extra shipping because of the odd sized box.

I wouldn't run a Fiji Purple and 2 Aquasuns. That will be SO red! For 5 bulbs I like:
ATI Blue Plus KZ Fiji Purple ATI Blue Plus ATI Aquablue or GE 6500K ATI Blue Plus The GE will kick up your green and yellow if you have yellow corals.
