Sheesh. I'm wishing my HUSBAND would get on board with me and this hobby!!! Of all the years I've kept fish only tanks, he's never shown an interest and I've never asked him (nor has he volunteered) to help with any part of it. Perhaps with my new reef it will be different. He IS building me a wooden canopy for it now.

my wife only uses the mag float... PERIOD. whatever the magfloat doesn't clean, will jsut have to wait until I come home. She is afraid to touch the water, she is convinced that tangs and clowns will bite her hand off. Feeding she will do from a distance, like at the door way to the fish room, because again she is afraid a clown might leap out of the tank and eat her eyes. Although she loves our non declawed cat to death who actually does try taking your eyes out.

My wife will feed while iam gone but i have to call her and reminder her to do it and thats about all she will do to the tank.
In her defense she works a full time job that has STRANGE and unpredictable and many times excessive hours with 3 elementry school kids under foot at home

Iam lucky that for the most part she dosent complain about my obcession or when i spend money or when i spend hours on RC...but she will tell me if she thinks a fish is pretty (meaning if you MUST buy a new fish this is the one i want you to get)
