stockman standpipe

Hi,

I have a cj standpipe from nautilusreef (basically a stockman standpipe), & am wondering what the best overflow waterlevel is for the standpipe. I'm think 2-3" below overflow teeth. Please any thoughts &/or experiences welcome!

Ron

I wouldnt go any further than an inch below your overflow teeth. You should experiment and see what sounds or should I say dosnt sound the best. I never glue my overflow pipes in...so its easy to test them to see which height works the best. I use the durso standpipes made outta pvc pipe. cheap and very easy to work with
