UV pond clarifier sterilizer???
Hello everyone I just purchased this Turbo Twist 18w UV pond clarifier

on another note, what is the target flow rate numbers since I'm running
a 18W UV, at the moment I'm running along with quietone 3500. Is the pump too powerful for the UV? Thanks |

i have a bit less than 200gph flowing through mine...its a 25 watt...
yes its the same thing

Bigdaddy,
the slower the better when it comes to UV. You want the water to stay in contact with UV as long as possible. I have a 9W turbotwist for a 60g cube + 20g sump and I am fairly happy with. I feed the UV from the GFO rector output which is probably around 60gph. hope it helps, Marian |

Well how do I change the tubing fitting, thats running from a maxjet pump into a 5/8" tubing inlet UV unit? Thanks again |
