ID Please on Coral
well i have had this mushroom for about a three weeks and all of a sudden i saw a encrusting coral. it looks like a grey zoas but much smaller i mean much smaller than zoas. they are on the top left of the rock in the center of the screen

Just a random guess, but it looks like what might be leftover from a pagoda cup coral.

maybe i do see some other of what looks like a dead piece of a cup coral next to it

maybe a Rhodactis Shroom, thats the only shroom that looks like it has polyps like that.

nah I don't think its a shroom it just came with the shroom rock i've seen rhodactis wish i had some there cool

thanks if anyone knows of any other coral it might be please tell but I think thats it. good im getting better lighting because they need a lot of light

ill try to describe them cause a picture is almost impossible right now. they are about a millimeter in diameter. green yellow mouth. grey tentacles with enough room in-between them for at-least another tentacle.

Hard to tell from that pic but it looks like it MIGHT be gonipora but a close up would def help with an idea....

from the pics i looked at it looks like it could be either cup coral or gonipora. I am hopping cup coral because they are "easier" to keep. thanks and i removed the shroom that is right next to it.

Most likely not zoanthids because of the stinger-appearing tips of the tentacles. The density of the polyps is not consistent with cup coral. The skeleton from below reminds me of goniopora/alveopora.
