Filter Question
I have a 46 Gallon Bowfront reef tank.
I have had it set up for about a year. At the moment I am using a Fluval 205 canister filter http://www.aquariumguys.com/fluval-2...er-filter.html I would like to upgrade it but my cash reserve is low. a friend of mine is breaking down his set up and has offered to give me a Fluval FX5. http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/971/product.web He was using for a 125gallon tank. He seems to think I will be fine, but I am not sure. Anyone input would be helpful. Thank you in advance |

I would take it and sell both of the canisters on ebay and then you will have the funds to upgrade

Are you concerned that it is going to be too much filtration? I have a Fluval 305 on a 10G!

I was worried it would have to much flow, that it might disrupt or dislodge things in my tank.
