Baffle size?

I am designing a sump, and I was wondering how wide the baffle should be that separates the skimmer section and the return pump. In pictures it seems like the space is anywhere between 1"-2", but I was wondering if there is a "standard" size, or anything that I should take into consideration? Thanks!

The Space between the baffels should be 1"

If you have a larger sump or want more flow you can make it wider.

I too made mine 1". That seems to be the "standard" size if there is one. The middle one is also 1" off the bottom of the tank, jsut make sure you do it first or you wont get your spaced out other wise :P
