AC Apex or AC3Pro?

Hello all,
I'm looking to get a new controller. I already have 2 AC2's running on individual tanks and LOVE them so i know that i definitely want to stay with a "Neptune" product.
Well, I go out of town every now and then and i want to upgrade to something i can check/control over the internet. I'd like to get the new Apex but it seems like they need a few bugs worked out. What's everyones input to this? The AC3pro's been around for awhile and seems to have a good track record but i like the fact that the Apex also replaces the Tunze multicontroller. I have a seperate building that houses my tank and fishroom and it's been wired with x-10's. Can i use both the x-10's and the new Energy bar 8 at once? Seems like a waste to get the energy bar if it doesn't control both.
So basically.....what's the pro's and con's to each? I'd like to hear from actual owner's of these controllers and if you could pick...why?

If you want a AC3Pro you had better get a move on. As I understand it, 09 will be the last year of sale for this.

Dont know anything about the AC3pro, but I do have a apex. Should be able to use the EB8 and any X-10's. I am using a EB8 and a DC8. For internet control I really like my apex. I can control/m onitor my tank with my Blackberry or any other computer with internet access. With the newest firmware you can graph up to 7 days and there seem to be a lot less bugs. So far I really like mine.

I've never had an ACPro so I can't provide a comparison, but I'm very pleased with the APEX. I also travel a lot and the ability to monitor and adjust the tank remotely (including from my Palm Pre) is invaluable to me. Firmware updates seem to be fast-coming and support has been top-notch.

I'm installing a remotely controllable IP Web Cam today that in concert with the APEX let me keep close tabs on all aspects of tank health.

This is exactly what i had planned... total control/monitoring via the web PLUS visual monitoring as well. Video cameras seem to be cheap enough these days.
Let me ask you this... will the video work in concert with the Apex or will it be 2 seperate programs on 2 different screens, just minimized to have both screens fit at once? Man, it'd be nice to have a video feed with all the parameters shown in the corner of the screen but i'm guessing i'm wishing for too much. LOL.

WOW, you guys have me just about to take the leap!

Any one else have any input?
