good day every one hope you are doing good.

anyways just wanted to post some info on my tank build to date.

well here we go

100g main w/coast 2 coast overflow 1.5" bulkheads 1.5"white pvc stand pipes with 1.5" spa flex tubing. gravity feed down to sump. 2" sand bed approx 150lbs of LR

100g sump 3 section system 1st section skimmer reef octopus dnw
2nd section refuge approx 40g deep sand bed some LR some macro for now.
3rd section water return back to main via OR 6500 crazy I know but it works great.

now for flow I am unsure yet but I think 3 hydor 3 placed LT MC and RB for now.
I was thinking vortex mp 20 or mp 40 but i have heard good and bad abouth them so I unsure if I want to pay that money and then they heat up to fast and then there no good $400 gone I don't know any suggestions?

for lighting coralvue dual ballest lumenx reflectors x 2 with 2 250W DE MH bulbs.

will be keeping various types corals (easy to moderate to care for). any suggetions?

various fish will be kept bottom/middle and top water swimmers. any suggestions?

like I said so far I am as far as the pluming almost complete so I am open to suggestions.

anyways if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please feel free to comment I like to get different ideas it helps me make the best decisions in the long run.
