That one looks good light wise, but you might want to get an outdoor flood light type bulb so you don't have to worry about water splashing on it. Also, the reflector in the flood light gives you more light pointing at your fuge so you get the most light for the least watts.

Thanks, I just couldn't get a K rating for any of that companies bulbs, so wasn't sure.

I don't think I could find a flood light at HD.... I will look again.

Besides the bulb and its wattage, how long and when do you cycle the light on the chaeto? Thanks.

+1 to that! and a big one too

You can do it 24/7, but I think it's better to give it some "dark time" to grow. When my DT turns off my fuge light turns on. The good thing about this is PH stays more constant.
