Need some help from the pros
thinkin of buyin a current usa 8x54w t5 fixture used with all new bulbs from a guy for $400. Is this a good deal, i noticed it had 2 power cords and built in lunar lights, but did not look like individual reflectors
1. is it a good deal 2. Could i grow anything with that much light 3. how mush of a change will i notice from my cureent nove 2x54 T5 ho |

Lol I'm not a pro but i'll chime in.
1.No, its not a good deal. $400 is what cost new including bulbs. 2.Yes you can grow anything with that! Depending in depth though, you shouldn't place any sps lower than 20". 3.You will notice a big change beleive me. afishybusiness.com has it for $389.99 with free shipping. |

Yeah I agree with the above posts. Check out reefgeek.com. They have good prices and lots of options from fully assembled units to retro kits. I actually just hooked up a 6 bulb 80w unit today and upgraded from PC lighting. I will never do PC's again. The colors that I can see now are unbelievable. I didn't know my corals could look so good. Its like looking at a new tank. I swear!!!
