Running a Mag 7 in-line
Has anybody around here run any of the mag pumps in-line? I'm thinking about doing this for ease of maintenance and sheer convenience because it barely fits in the return area of my already riculously overpaced sump, but am I asking for trouble and leaks? Do they in-line well?

Anybody have any experience with these?
http://www.marinedepot.com/Aquarium_...WPSBUF-vi.html Rated for external with a built in flow control are two qualities I'm liking about it. |

Didn't know maxijet made pumps that could be run externally. Simple judging by the picture it looks like there are still slip fittings? I would not be comfortable with that on an external pump unless glued. Personally I wouldn't put too much weight on the fact that it has a built in flow control. A simple ball valve can do the trick for you (probably better and easier adjustments too)
