fish has a parasite

my fish has some parasites that i cant really clasify, what is a good medication i can put in the tank that helps with parasites?

Current Tank Info: 40g breeder DT LR & Macro Algae - 2" sand, 6 T5s & 2 fans in hood; 30gL sump/fuge w/MSX 200 skimmer & other equip.; (mangroves in DT - roots are great look)

U can also put a cleaner shrimp in there. As far as parasites go u can use Prazipro.

Honestly a positive ID is needed to come up with a way to treat it. Can you post a pic? at least describe it. A worm, isopod, protozoa etc need different treatments.

stomach parasites, he poops white strings, and ive also seen some white stringy things on his body

My clown had similar issues not long ago and I asked the question on this thread

I thought they gave me good advice. In the meantime, I have been giving spectrum pellets thera-a, brineshrimp with spirulina, mysis shrimp, and soaking everything in selcon, vitachem and garlic extreme by Kent. Yes, overkill. However...... there have been no signs of internal parasite for a couple of weeks. I chose to wait and see how he was doing, because he was still eating ok. But your case may be different, you may need to medicate sooner than I have depending on how your fish is doing.

he died, my anemone ate him..wierd because hes been going in the nem for a very long time no problems.. can those parasites go to my other fish?
